Her fiction writing specialties are in the speculative fiction and realistic fiction genres; she also loves writing poetry and songs. She derives great joy in writing non-fiction works, as well, including articles, newsletters, handbooks, training materials, and instructional/technical writing.
Aliza is based in the warm weather of the southwestern United States where she enjoys spending time with her loved ones and animals. Along with writing, she holds a special place in her heart for music, animals, nature, learning, community, Van Gogh, the sound of keyboards and typewriters clacking, the Oxford comma, and all aspects of nerdom. She's earned a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and English and is currently working toward a graduate degree.
